Breonna Taylor was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was killed on March 13, 2020, in Lousiville, Kentucky. The shooting of Breonna Taylor by police officers led to numerous protests that added to those across the United States against police brutality and racism. Let us remember that Breonna was a black woman with a loving family who died at the hands of those sworn to protect us.
